This is a picture book for adult children. The book is a parody of the perrinial Christmas favorite,"The Elf on the Shelf." The story pokes fun at the idea behind the elf on the shelf which essentially says that Santa has a network of elves that spy on children. Kind of gives Norman the creeps, and that takes a lot.
